BOOTY OF WAR- PART I

Andrey Firstov

This photobook, part one of a five-book series, on the subject of captured AFVs in IDF service, was released in late 2022.

The author has set a goal to document  all the captured equipment that he could find in relevant Israeli archives. The result is this first book in the series, with more than 240 pages and numerous AFV and soft-skin vehicle photos of the War of Independence and the Sinai War of 1956.

John (Jack) Legere says: Received my copy on Saturday, the 7th of Jan 2023. Chuck full of photos…with many I’ve never seen before, covered over 246 pages. Larger photos appear than I’m usually use to…which is greatly welcomed. A wealth of information on individual vehicles and their roles…some with descriptions of the method/location of capture. As the title indicates, this book deal with vehicles from the War of Independence through the Sinai War. Outstanding resource/reference for modeling. Highly recommended!
